Microblading: 2-3 hours

Powder Brows: 3 hours

Eyebrow treatments are done in two sessions. On the first session, the brow is shaped and styled depending on the client’s facial structure, features, and the client’s preference. 6-12 weeks later, the client returns for the Perfection Session for touch up. A touch up can take anywhere from one to two hours.

Lip Blush: 4-6 hours

Lip Blush is done in two sessions. On the first session the lips are shaped to perfection and the first coat of pigment is carefully and slowly applied. 6-11 to weeks later, the client returns for a second session. A touchup can take about 4 hours.

A touch up is necessary with all the treatments because everyone heals differently and therefore results vary. Sometimes it is necessary to adjust the color and brow thickness by adding more strokes. In the Perfection Session, the final adjustments are made to assure the client’s satisfaction.
With Lip Blush a second layer is applied to ensure the durability of the procedure.

For microblading the level of discomfort is relatively minor. Some people have reported the experience to be similar in pain to tweezing two to three hairs at the same time. A topical anesthetic is used to numb the area. Topical anesthetics are safe and may contain lidocaine, tetracaine and epinephrine.

Redness and slight swelling in the area is common after the procedure. The feeling can be compared to the experience of a slight sunburn. Tylenol is used to address any discomfort.

Lip Blush procedure is pre-numbed and then numbed throughout the procedure to ease discomfort. Some people might experience slight swelling for the first couple of hours.

Microblading: Generally lasts 12 to 18 months, depending on skin type, normal, oily, or dry, as well as the age of the client; young or mature. It is not permanent like a tattoo, because the pigments are not implanted so deeply into the skin. Skincare is also a big factor in the duration of the results. It is very important to follow aftercare instructions. To maintain the brows, touch up appointments may be done every 6 to 18 months, or as needed.

Powder Brows can last anywhere from 1-3 years, depending on skin type, age, and lifestyle. This style of permanent makeup tends to be more permanent than microblading. To maintain powder brows, touch ups are recommended about once per year.

Lip Blush can last 2 to 3 years, after the initial touch up, depending on the person’s skin type and lifestyle. Ideally touch ups are once per year. If not touched up Lip blush tends to fade entirely because the lips continuously exfoliate.

The longevity of the pigment on all forms of permanent makeup is affected by skincare routine. Clients who use chemical peels, or products with AHA or gycolic acid will fade faster because of the exfoliating qualities of these ingredients.

Selecting your Microblading and Permanent Makeup Artist is an important decision. Choose wisely. Compare the work of various artists before choosing. Consider training, reviews, before and after photos, and healed work. Once you have selected an artist, discuss your expectations and desired outcome, including the shape, style, and color you wish. Also, remember that faces are never perfectly symmetrical. Adjustments may be made during touch up.

Consultations are not necessary for most people; I am confident I can do anything or anyone. However, if you have additional questions or concerns you can contact me to set up a complimentary Facetime or in person consultation.

If you have previous microblading or permanent makeup by another artist you must contact me before booking your appointment. I will have to see clear photos of your brows, or I might have to see you in person. If I think I can make the old work better, I will take you in as a new client.

Select the touchup with the timeframe that pertains to you. You should count the time since your last touch up. If the wrong time frame is chosen I will adjust it for you as well as the price.

You can’t swim, sweat, exercise or be directly under the sun 7 days after your appointment so please plan your activities accordingly. Failure to follow will compromise the results of your treatment.
